Memo Honey Capsules: What One Capsule Holds and How the Count Works

Memo honey capsules are sold in one form only: a swallowed capsule, 30 to a bottle. There is no gummy, powder or liquid version. This page looks at what is physically in one capsule, how the amounts compare with the research, and how the capsule count lines up with the calendar and the refund window.

What is inside one of the memo honey capsules?

One capsule is the serving. It holds L-Arginine (base) 200 mg, L-Arginine AKG 2:1 Extract 200 mg, L-Citrulline HCl 100 mg, L-Citrulline Malate 100 mg, Beta Alanine 40 mg, Niacin 7.5 mg NE and Calcium 18 mg. The rest is hypromellose, vegetable stearate and silicon dioxide.

Add the amino acids and you get 640 mg: 400 mg across the two arginine lines, 200 mg across the two citrulline lines and 40 mg of beta-alanine. The panel prints a Daily Value only for niacin (47%) and calcium (1.5%). For the amino acids it prints none, because none has been set.

How do memo honey capsules compare with the research?

The five amino acids come from nitric oxide and sports research. The trials used 2.4 g to 12 g a day of a single ingredient. A capsule carries 640 mg of the five together, so the label sits at roughly a fortieth to a sixtieth of the studied amounts.

That does not make the capsule useless or unsafe. It means a reader should not expect the result of an 8.8 g trial from 200 mg of citrulline. Niacin is the one line printed at the amount it is normally used at, and 7.5 mg NE sits well under the 35 mg US upper limit for niacin from supplements. The ingredients page puts every trial beside its label line.

How do capsule counts line up with the 60-day window?

The refund window is 60 days from the date of purchase. The right-hand column is this website's own arithmetic, assuming no missed days and ignoring transit time.

Transit time also comes out of the 60 days, so in practice fewer capsules fit inside the window than the table shows.

How should you handle and store the capsules?

The label says to store the bottle in a cool, dry place away from heat and light. Take one capsule with an 8 oz glass of water, 20 to 30 minutes before a meal. Do not take extra to catch up, because the label says not to exceed the recommended dose.

The capsule is simple and the label is generous. You can see every line and every amount, which is more than many supplement pages offer. You cannot see a trial of the capsule itself, because none exists, and you cannot see its size, because that is not published.
